Veritas Learning Circle is a mobile application platform that enables parents to access their children's academic records anytime, anywhere. It provides a centralized interface where parents can view report cards, track attendance, access and pay fee challans, and review transaction history with ease. The platform also streamlines the fee lifecycle by tracking due and expiry dates, facilitating timely payments, and sending automated reminders to ensure payments remain up to date. Veritas Learning Circle combines fee challan processing, secure payments, and FCM-based notification updates to deliver a reliable and scalable mobile experience.
Before Veritas Learning Circle, schools and parents relied heavily on fragmented and manual processes to manage student-related information. Fee challans had to be collected physically, and parents were required to maintain paper records of report cards and academic history, increasing the risk of loss and inconsistency. Accessing student updates such as attendance or performance required parents to visit schools, schedule appointments with teachers, or wait for administrative responses. Event images and updates were shared informally through platforms like WhatsApp groups or social media pages, making them difficult to track and organize. Additionally, there was no structured system to track payment history or fee status, requiring parents to manually follow up with school administration, leading to delays and inefficiencies. These limitations made the entire process time-consuming, non-transparent, and difficult to scale. The problems that Veritas Learning Circle addresses are manual and fragmented communication between schools and parents, lack of centralized access to academic and financial records, and inefficient fee tracking and payment processes.
We addressed these challenges by building a centralized mobile application that digitizes and streamlines all parent-school interactions into a single, accessible platform. We simplified access to academic and administrative data by enabling parents to view report cards, attendance records, and student performance in real time, eliminating the need for physical visits or manual record-keeping. Fee management was optimized by providing digital fee challans, complete transaction history, and integrated payment workflows, allowing parents to securely complete payments directly within the application. To improve communication and engagement, we implemented a structured content system where schools can share event updates, galleries, and important announcements in an organized manner, replacing scattered updates across social media and messaging platforms. To ensure timely fee payments and reduce administrative overhead, we introduced an automated reminder system powered by FCM-based notifications, which proactively alerts parents about due dates, upcoming deadlines, and important updates. Overall, the platform combines centralized academic access, digital fee management, and real-time communication to deliver a scalable and efficient solution for both schools and parents.
The application is designed with a modular frontend architecture focused on scalability, maintainability, and efficient data handling across multiple feature modules. At the core, the mobile application is built using React Native, providing a cross-platform solution for both Android and iOS users. The app is structured using reusable components and feature-based modules, ensuring clean separation of concerns and ease of future enhancements. For communication with backend services, we utilize Axios to handle API requests. This enables a consistent and centralized approach to data fetching, error handling, and request management across the application. State management is handled using Zustand, allowing for a lightweight and scalable global state solution. This helps efficiently manage shared data such as user sessions, student information, and UI states, while avoiding unnecessary re-renders and complexity. To support real-time communication and user engagement, the application integrates Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications. This enables the system to deliver timely updates such as fee reminders, announcements, and important alerts directly to parents’ devices. Overall, the architecture combines component-based design, centralized API communication, and lightweight state management to deliver a responsive, scalable, and user-friendly mobile experience.
The application delivered clear operational and user experience improvements for both schools and parents. For schools, it significantly reduced the administrative burden by digitizing academic records, fee management, and communication workflows. Manual tasks such as distributing fee challans, maintaining physical records, and responding to repetitive parent queries were minimized. This improved operational efficiency, reduced errors, and enabled better organization of student data. For parents, the platform created a more transparent and convenient experience. They gained real-time access to their child’s academic performance, attendance records, fee status, and school updates without needing to visit the institution or rely on informal communication channels. Automated notifications ensured they stayed informed about important deadlines and events. In essence, the application improved accessibility, streamlined communication, and enhanced overall efficiency, creating a more connected and reliable ecosystem for both schools and parents.
